Top 5 Foods Picky Eaters Will Eat … Probably
Everybody is sometimes picky in what they eat, but there are some people who will only eat a select number of things. They are called picky eaters. Picky eaters are people who are averse to eating certain foods and have an unwillingness to try new foods. Most picky eaters are children and grow out of it, but sometimes it extends into adulthood. So what foods will picky eaters eat?
When picky eaters go to restaurants, they typically eat the same thing all the time and it’s usually food that would be seen on the kid’s menu. They usually don’t like to venture into the unknown realm of food.
As a picky eater myself, I can attest that these are the 5 main foods that mostly all picky eaters will eat. *This is off of pure observation and experience and does not count for every picky eater. *
Foods Picky Eaters Will Eat #5 – Cheeseburgers
A plain cheeseburger, well-done with fries on the side, and maybe ketchup, is the way to go. No, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, or anything outside of the bun, meat and cheese, please. Make sure the bun does not have seeds.
Foods Picky Eaters Will Eat #4 – Macaroni and Cheese
Mac and cheese comes in many different shapes and flavors. For most picky eaters, the original mac & cheese is the way to go. Some like the shells, Velveeta, or even pinwheel are acceptable, but to play it safe, give your picky eater the original. It is easy to make and doesn’t take very long.
#3 – Peanut Butter and Jelly
Unless you are allergic to peanuts or are just REALLY picky, PB&J is a safe bet for anyone. Again, it is easy to make and delicious for all. But white bread only with creamy JIF peanut butter and grape jelly.
#2 – Pizza
Pizza is a staple in most Americans’ lives. It is simple to order, easy to eat, and all around delicious. But for a picky eater, it is probably just plain cheese pizza because they probably don’t like anything else besides that. Don’t think about mixing up flavors or pizza places because a picky eater will know.
#1 – Chicken Nuggets and Fries
Most likely, the most common food a picky eater will choose. Chicken tenders and fries are a staple in a picky eater’s diet. It’s delicious with some ketchup or BBQ sauce but don’t put any seasoning on the nuggets and put the sauce on the side just in case.
Now that I made you all hungry, go and enjoy some food, whether it is any of the ones listed above or anything else. And if you know someone who is a picky eater, please be patient with them. They are doing their best.
