So with mouths watering here are the top 5 must try wild ice cream flavors found across the United States.
Wild Ice Cream Flavors – Tea Time
This ice cream is found at the Walnut Beach Creamery in Milford Connecticut. It lives up to its name as it is made with Black Tea and bits of buttery Shortbread to give it the tase of a proper English tea snack. A cool snack on a hot day or a bite to eat if you want to venture into some English flavorings. A proper English accent is not required with a scoop of this ice cream.
Wild Ice Cream Flavors – Sweet Corn
This concoction is brought to us from the Sweet Republic: Artisan Ice Cream locations in Scottsdale and Pheonix Arizona. Sweet Republic starts things off with butter-flavored ice cream and mixes in sweet corn to give the flavoring of a slice of cornbread in the hot Arizona sun. What a way to beat that Arizona heat and eat your vegetables all while enjoying a scoop of this goodness.
Wild Ice Cream Flavors – Roasted Tumeric
This ice cream is made from a relative of ginger from the Coppa in Juneau, Alaska. It is said that this ice cream is an anti inflammatory treat, so it is good for you as well as tasting great. The Coppa also shows that there is a call for ice cream even in Alaska and this flavor is good if you aren’t feeling so well. Good to know that if you are ever up there and your insides start “acting up”, you can get some of this to put into your system.
Found at Ben and Bill’s Chocolate Emporium in Bar Harbor Maine. This is butter flavored ice cream mixed in with parts of cooked Lobster meat. This makes a tasty hybrid of a nice Maine cooked Lobster dinner with dessert all in one. The Emporium sits near a grocery store and the sea so chances are good whenever you go to the Emporium there is going to be fresh lobster, no matter which source they get it from. Hopefully, those lobsters don’t fight back when you are enjoying the ice cream.
This ice cream flavor is found at Wing Ice Cream in Honolulu Hawaii in part of the island’s Chinatown. Inspired by Ozzy Osbourne, this is a mixture of flavors, with it made from a scoop of the homemade black sesame ice cream and a scoop of blueberry/lavender. Wing is also known for their homemade waffle cones. These usually taste much better than the bats Ozzy bit the heads off of back in the day. This is so good to eat you may want to bark at the moon after finishing off a serving.
