Top 5 Fun Fall Activities to do With Your Friends
Though this time of the year can get busy with school or jumping back into work, there are so many ways to hang out with friends and celebrate fall. These top 5 fun fall activities will get you excited about the season. P.S. you get bonus points if you do all of them!
Top Fall Activities – Go on a Brewery Tour
If you are of age, going on a brewery tour with your friends is a fun way to celebrate fall. Around this time of year, there are usually a ton of autumn-themed lagers and stouts, so it’s a great way to try new flavors and loosen up with everyone!
In my area, the train line closest to me is called the “Beer Train”. It runs along some of the best breweries outside of Philadelphia. Get inspired and look for different bars and breweries that you haven’t been to and experiment with fun fall flavors.
After your brewery tour, everyone could got to a local College or pro football game! Football being one of the greatest elements about the fall season, truly gets you in the spirit and hypes you up for the rest of the year! Round up the group and head over to the football stadium for a day loaded with pictures, food and fun!
Plan an Orchard Trip
I think just about how everyone has at least one picture on their Instagram either picking an apple or holding a pumpkin during this time of year, and there’s nothing wrong with that! Apple orchards and pumpkin patches are so much fun to go to during the fall season. There’s the beautiful colors of the leaves, the crisp smell of fresh apples, and let’s not forget – all sorts of yummy treats like apple cider doughnuts! Gather up your friends to take a trip to an orchard and don’t forget to snap a pic of everyone while on the hayride!
Host a Halloween Party
A small Halloween party is a super fun way to meet up with friends and catch up with them! To host a small party in your home or apartment, start by decorating with some inexpensive pumpkins, cotton cob webs, and glow in the dark lights to give it that spooky feel. The dollar store is the perfect place to shop because it has so many spooky decorations for cheap. Then find some fun, Halloween-themed snacks, like Hot Dog Mummies, Halloween Harvest Mix and Vampire Teeth Cookies! Lastly, find a spunky Spotify playlist that has all of the greatest Halloween hits to keep everyone dancing through the night – I love this one!
Have a Bonfire
I don’t think I know anyone who doesn’t love a good bonfire. On a nice, crisp and chilly fall night, what better fall activity with friends than a bonfire! Set a date and time and gather up your closet friends and have a bonfire! Get a ton of warm blankets and pillows, light the fire, and enjoy the company of your friends. The best thing about a bonfire is that it’s an inexpensive way to have fun and enjoy the beautiful fall. For extra bonus points, load up on graham crackers, chocolate bars and marshmallows to make s’mores. Throw in a spooky story or two – you can’t go wrong with them!
Host a Friendsgiving
Sometimes in our everyday lives, we don’t get the opportunity to get together for a nice dinner or even travel home for the holidays. A Friendsgiving is a great way to bring friends together and create that feeling of home. While Friendsgivings are popular around Thanksgiving time, you can have a Friendsgiving style meal at any time of year! Have each of the friends prepare a dish like macaroni and cheese, a big salad, or even a nice dessert and collectively prepare and enjoy the meal together. Nothing says fall like being with friends!
Ultimately the best part about fall is being around those you love and care about. There are so many opportunities to do this, like the ones above, that I guarantee you you’re going to want to do these top fall activities every year!
