Top 5 Thoughts a Cat Thinks Every Day
If you have a cat or have ever interacted with a cat, you know that they are lovable animals that are very set in their way. You don’t own them, they own you. But as stubborn as they are, cats just want to be loved and taken care of, just like any pet does. With not much going on in their daily lives, cats do the same things pretty much every day. Here are the 5 top thoughts a cat think daily.
Cat Thoughts #5 – I wonder when my humans will be home?
Every day we go to school, work, errands, etc. and leave our pets at home by themselves. While they are probably sleeping (because that’s what cats do best), it sometimes breaks your heart to come home and see you cat sitting in your front window, waiting for you. If you think you had a long day at work, their day probably felt 10x longer until you come home. You are the center of their world and should always pay attention to them.
Cat Thoughts #4 – Food. Food. Food.
I have never met a cat that didn’t get excited when you put food out or ask if they want a treat. Believe me, they want the treat. Even if they just ate 5 minutes ago and you walk by their food dish, they are going to want more.
Cat Thoughts #3 – Zzzzzzzzzz
Your cat is probably sleeping as you are reading this. Most cats sleep all day and when they aren’t asleep, they are probably thinking about being asleep. Most cats sleep an average of 15 hours per day. Some up to 20 hours. We don’t blame them. We would sleep that long if we had nothing to worry about all day.
#2 – If I fits, I sits
If there is a box or bag lying around, or a paper or something you are consumed in, most cats will sit directly on top of it and block your view. Many people leave boxes around from various items and 9 times out of 10, your cat will jump in the box and make it their own. Reading a book, newspaper, or anything, flat? Forget it. It’s time to pay attention to your cat now.
#1 – Leave me alone
Our cats love us, and we love them. We love them so much that we constantly pet them or give them a kiss or various other acts of affection. Sometimes in the cat’s expression, you can see that they may want to be left alone and will come to you for kisses later.
If you have a cat, make sure to talk to them and tell them you love them. They understand you.
