Even though the pandemic hit 2020 pretty early and cancelled many people’s plans, including weddings, some celebrities still managed to get married. Some did put them on hold until next year, however.
Many of the ceremonies were small with close family and friends, following quarantine guidelines and others were just the couple, officiant and maybe a witness or two. Some of them, fans didn’t even know about until after they happened.

2020 Celebrity Weddings – Scarlett Johannson and Colin Jost

The actress and “Saturday Night Live” star had been engaged for over a year before they got married in an intimate ceremony at the end of October with immediate family and loved ones in Palisades, New York. They had only planned the wedding in a few weeks, wanting just a small and intimate ceremony and that is what they got. No pictures were shared from the day and their marriage was announced via an Instagram post from Meals on Wheels.
2020 Celebrity Weddings – Emma Stone and Dave McCary

The couple was supposed to get married earlier this year, but due to the pandemic it had to be postponed. They announced their engagement in December 2019 by posting a photo on Instagram. Earlier in September, the actress and former “SNL” writer, were spotted wearing gold wedding bands. They kept their wedding, like most of their relationship, private.
Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell

Steve Irwin’s daughter, Bindi, married her longtime boyfriend, Chandler Powell in March, just as the world shut down, in Australia. The couple was supposed to have a big wedding, but had to pivot their plans as the pandemic happened. So they had an intimate ceremony, surrounded by Bindi’s mom, brother, and the officiant. Later in the year, the couple announced they are expecting their first child, a daughter due next year.
Raven Symone and Miranda Pearman-Maday

The Disney star married her new wife in L.A. The quarantine inspired them to do it. Symone picked out a ring online and drove Miranda to a mountain in Malibu and proposed. They married on June 16th in the front garden of Debbie Allen’s home. Raven picked out the outfits, Debbie cooked, cake and champagne were served, and love was joined together.
Frankie Muniz and Paige Price
The “Malcolm in the Middle” star and his wife tied the knot right before the world shut down on February 21st in Arizona. They had an unplugged ceremony. Frankie wore a red tux and the bride wore a halter-neck white gown and veil with floral trim. They had a memorable moment when flowers knocked into a candle and ten-foot flames appeared.
