Top 5 Things You Must Do in Disney’s Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge
Disney’s new land, Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge, is opening up in both Disneyland and Disney World. Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge will first be launching in Disneyland on May 31st, then opening on August 29th in Disney World.
One thing you should know about Galaxy’s Edge is that this park is more interactive than the other themed places throughout Disney.
In Galaxy’s Edge you get to play a part, whether it’s controlling the Millenium Falcon, assembling your own lightsaber, or taking the edge off at Oga’s Cantina, you are part of the Star Wars universe.
Cast members at Galaxy’s Edge will each have a backstory that they are willing to share with you. Also, on the Play Disney Parks app, you’re allowed to interact with as many droids and cast members during your experience
Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run

Smuggler’s Run allows you and 5 other guests aboard the Millenium Falcon to complete a mission. Each member on the ship will play a key role. Your performance as a group will be revealed to you at the end. This video game ride is basically like a Toy Story Mania, but beefed up a few notches.
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance

During the Rise of the Resistance, a much more low-key attraction compared to Smugglers Run, you are infiltrating a battle between the First Order and the Resistance.
You will be able to board and disembark throughout the experience.
Build Your Own Droid

For $99.99 you can build your own droid! At Droid Depot, you can choose between a BB or R-series. Depending on your choice, you can customize each key-part.
A cast member will offer blueprints of parts. Once you’ve created your perfect Droid, you will also be given a remote control to operate your Droid.
With Bluetooth technology, the Droids will be able to communicate with you and other Droids.
Assemble Your Own Lightsaber

This more expensive project is $200. For that price, you are presented with four different themes to represent in your lightsaber–peace and justice, power and control, elemental nature and protection and defense.
Once your theme is chosen you may pick which colored kyber crystal, aka the heart of the lightsaber.
Oga’s Cantina

You may run into a friend or foe here or you may be making smuggling plan. Those are some of the things that go on at Oga’s Cantina, but one thing you should make sure you do is try the drinks that are out of this world!
The menu accommodates people of all ages of course. Non-alcoholic drinks include Blue Bantha, which is Blue milk served with a sugar cookie.
As for an alcoholic beverage, there’s the Jedi Mind Trick made with rose and grapefruit vodka, Blue Curacao, Falernum, white grape juice, lime juice and grapefruit bitters.
