Disney+ has officially launched and no one should bother us for the next month. Whether you want to watch new movies coming out or want to catch up on your favorite Disney Channel show, Disney+ has something for everyone. When the site first launched there were some glitches because everyone in the country was trying to log on at the same time. Here are 5 Thoughts you probably had when first logging on to Disney+.
Disney+ Thoughts #5 – “It’s Beautiful”
You may have shed a tear if you are a huge Disney fan. From Disney classic, to DCOMS, to Star Wars, Marvel, and National Geographic, you have access to your favorite things to watch at the touch of a button at any time of the day. Scrolling through, seeing all the titles and remembering your childhood is an emotional thing for some people.
Disney+ Thoughts #4 – “OMG! That show. I forgot about that. *adds to watchlist*”
There were many series, such as “Doug,” “Recess,” “Even Stevens,” and more, that many millenials may have watched as a child, but never got to rewatch or fully grasp as they got older. Now, you can relive those moments all day, every day (or at least until your subscription runs out) and forget about your adult responsibilities.
#3 – “What should I watch first?”
There are hundreds of options to choose from. Do you want to start out with something you’ve a bunch of times, like “That’s So Raven” or “Star Wars” or do you want to watch something new like “Lady and the Tramp” or “High School Musical:The Musical: The Series?” If you only have the subscription for a short time, the best suggestion is to watch what you haven’t seen before. If you have it for a long time, why not enjoy multiple things.
#2 – “Why isn’t this available?”
There are some shows and movies that have been out for years, but Disney+ is not releasing them until next year or later. It is understandable for new series, like the upcoming “Lizzie McGuire” reboot, but for classic shows why do we have to wait six months to watch it? It just doesn’t make any sense.
#1 – “What is real life?”
You can get so sucked into the world of Disney+, that by the time you have finished watching every Marvel movie, it’s a week later and you’ve accomplished nothing worthwhile. You might start quoting from movies and become sad when you have to get up off the couch, go to work, and get back to everyday life.
Are you enjoying Disney+? Did you have any of these emotions?
