Top 5 Must Use Classes in the World War Z Video Game
Killing zombies is a fun way to relieve stress, game with friends and a time to enjoy all the gore-infested kills that one can obtain. From Dead Rising, Left 4 Dead and the upcoming Back 4 Blood being some popular titles; let’s take a look at the video game adaptation of the movie and book of the same name, World War Z. This video game is more closely related to the book that was authored by Max Brooks and is more entertaining than the movie that starred Brad Pitt. For this list, we’ll be taking a look at the best classes to use in the game. These classes can help you survive a hell of lot longer and even when going for some of those tough achievements or trophies, be sure to rank these classes up to their max rank so that you’ll have a fighting chance to survive the onslaught of the horde!
Slasher
What are you going to do when your guns run dry? With no bullets or explosives at the ready, you only have your handy blade to trust. With many melee weapons to choose from, including the downloadable ones, cutting through the zeke is the equivalent to slicing butter with a knife. With the slasher class, you can your use melee weapon to no end and you even come equipped with a stun gun to hold the horde back when things get to be too intense. Whether you’re stopping the zeke from overrunning your position or slowing down those special zombies when they enter the battle, the slasher class is for players who like to get up close and personal.
Medic
Having a medic on the battlefield is essential for survival. With the medic class, you are able to help not only yourself but your team as well. Whether your applying medical kits to heal your teammates or using the stim boost to give them a fighting chance when the horde become too great in numbers, the medic is one of the best classes anyone can choose. I suggest playing in an aggressive style when playing as the medic especially when you’re fully ranked up as the upgrades will help ensure your survival as well as your teammates. If you decide to play on the higher difficulties, then the medic class is one should you definitely choose.
Exterminator/Hellraiser
Both of these classes are essentially the same. They both excel in crowd control and both have the option to equip claymores which can assist to keeping the swarm back especially if they are trying to flank you. The Hellraiser class provides explosive power to you and your team while the exterminator class helps in keeping the zeke at bay. Both have their perks and qualities but rest assured, both of these classes are perfect in crowd control and securing positions before the real battle begins.
Gunslinger
As long as you have enough ammo at the ready, having the gunslinger class works well with a player who enjoys keeping up the fight. With this class, players have hardly any recoil when firing their gun full auto and can even take out targets in the distance especially the screamer who tends to hide in hard-to-reach places. Rank up this class to provide additional ammo to you and your squad ensuring that you’ll hardly run dry. With grenades at the ready you can clear whole crowds of zombies and even take out a special zombie with one special thrown grenade at their feet. The gunslinger class may not be as glamourous as the other classes aforementioned but is still one that is worth running especially if you like reloading at the speed of less than two seconds.
Fixer
Who ever said that engineering was boring? This class has many perks including being able to drop explosive ammo that you and your squad can use, any defensive kits that are deployed on the battlefield can last longer with this class equipped and you can also revive fallen teammates very quickly if there are no medics playing. If you opt for the masking grenade instead, you essentially become invisible to the zeke for a couple of seconds which can aid you and the team to escape situations when the number of the undead become too great. This class also helps in providing additional ammo to the team and with the other perks that I’ve already mentioned, the fixer class is one of the most overpowered and essential classes of World War Z. It’s a complete package, just make sure that you have support from the other classes to aid in your survival as well as their own.
And that’s it. Those are the best classes to use in World War Z. This is still a fun video game in the spirit of the Left 4 Dead franchise with the only exception that it’s in third person instead of first person. With weekly challenges updated every week there’s always something new to try in this game and if you’re brave enough to try to beat the game on extreme mode, then the five classes mentioned above will be the ones that I would recommend using. Extreme mode is just that, it’s extremely hard.
