Top 5 memorable Halloween Costumes for 2020
Halloween is quickly approaching and if you don’t have a costume yet, we’ve got you covered. 2020 has been an odd year to say the least, so of course, there would be iconic and memorable costumes to go along with it.
Instead of princess, superheroes, or a cat, check out these creative costumes that will make you the talk of the party.
These options are also very simple and probably will not cost you a lot of money, time, or hassle. After the year we’ve had, we deserve to dress up, have fun, and relive some of the most iconic moments of the year. But just remember to stay safe and wear a mask.
Here are five, very simple, yet memorable Halloween costumes for 2020.
Carole Baskin

Hey all you cool cats and kittens, do you need a creative but simple Halloween costume this year? This costume is the one for you! All you need is a leopard print mumu, shirt, dress, etc. a flower crown, a long straight wig, and some jeans. Bonus: add a stuffed furry feline and your look is complete.
Admit it, you binged watched Tiger King during quarantine. If you want a couple’s costume, Joe Exotic or a tiger to go along with her is a great option.
Harry Styles

Recreating his look from the Watermelon Sugar music video would be the easiest and would scream 2020. All you need is 70s themed clothes, so hit up your local thrift shop, crops tops, distressed jeans, Hawaiian shirts, and do not forget the oversize sunglasses. Top it off with a watermelon. If you don’t want to carry a real watermelon, find a pillow, purse, drawing, etc.
You and your friends can dress as the different costumes from the video or one of you can be Harry (iconic) and the others can be the extras.
Toilet Paper

Remember back in March and April when we were all freaking out over toilet paper? This costume would get people talking and laughing and it would be quite simple too. You could either buy one, or make your own. You could either use toilet paper, a sheet, fabric you find from an art store, or anything white. Top it off with a (clean and unused) toilet seat, plunger, etc.
You could be just like Katy Perry who wore toilet paper and hand sanitizer on ‘American Idol.’
Quarantine Couch Potato

This is actually really adorable and would most definitely win a prize in a costume contest. You are dressed as a potato with all the stuffings, sitting on a couch with a remote. Add in a bag of snacks (Preferably chips and a drink) and you’ve won 2020. You could also do a Zoom look with messed up hair, pajamas, not make-up and a bottle of alcohol.
Ruth Bader Ginsburg

The legendary Supreme Court Justice passed away this year. To honor her, you could dress up as RBG. All you need is a black robe (thank you graduation), a lace collar (if you can’t find one to buy, you can always make one), glasses, and put your hair in a bun. Carry a ‘VOTE’ or ‘Women’s Rights’ sign and you will be all set.
