Well, in just a few weeks, Disney will finally unveil its own streaming service, Disney+ on November 12th. Disney+ will be stocked with beloved old content as well as new shows and movies from Disney, Marvel, Fox, Pixar, LucasFilm and more.
While Disney fans are probably in the back rejoicing (and probably debating which Disney Renaissance era film they should stream first) this may come as a blow to others since Disney will be pulling their shows and movies from Netflix, Hulu, and other similar streaming sites.

Whether you are a Star Wars fan or not, based on the trailer, this show is bound to have all the makings of an addictive and binge-watchable television series. It’s set to air on November 12th, on the streaming service’s premiere date.
The Mandalorian will star Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, and Carl Weathers. While not much has been revealed about the premise, you can expect to see a lot of action, adventure, and suspense as we follow a Mandalorian bounty hunter through space.
Disney+ Shows and Movies – What If…?

What if the Avengers had to fight a hoard of zombies throughout the streets of New York City?
Marvel’s up and coming show, What If…?, will explore an entire range of crazy possibilities within the Marvel Universe. The show will focus on critical moments in the Marvel universe canon, and what would have happened if things went a little differently.

Though we won’t be able to stream this until 2021 the premise sounds incredibly entertaining. The show will be animated, but feature a lot of the same big-name talent in the Disney/Marvel lineup of films such as Michael B. Jordan, Samuel L. Lady and the Tramp
For the first time, Disney will be releasing a straight to streaming live-action version of their beloved film, Lady and the Tramp. This new version of Lady and the Tramp looks like the perfect light-hearted movie for the upcoming holiday season. It will star the voice talents of Tessa Thompson and Justin Theroux.

The Diary of a Female President

Though beloved Latina actress and star just wrapped up the final season of the hit show Jane The Virgin, she’s still hard at work. Gina Rodriguez has been set to produce this soon-to-be hit on Disney+. Her next huge project will premiere on the streaming service in 2020, titled Diary of a Female President. It’s set to star Orange is the Black’s, Selenis Leyva and Gina Rodriguez herself.
The show will center on a young Cuban-American 12-year-old girl named Elena, paving her way to success—and straight to the White House. We will hear her story told throughout a variety of diary entries as she navigates everything in her life from personal issues to petty middle school drama. The story will take place in two timelines. So we get the advantage of seeing Elena running the country as an adult, and what events led her to her presidential run.
The World According to Jeff Goldblum
Yes, Disney+ isn’t just for the kiddos. National Geographic has created something wholesome, educational, and yet still adult-friendly. The project is titled The World According to Jeff Goldblum.
The show is set to star, of course, the one and only Jeff Goldbloom. Who made his way into our hearts after his legendary performance in everyone’s favorite dinosaur movie from the nineties. Just as life finds a way, Jeff found his way back into the public eye and superstardom after signing on to host this show. It follows the beloved actor as he travels the world, experiences different cultures, and meets new people. It’s sure to be a fun and wild ride.
