A small dinosaur that came with the Rulon warrior Sting (not the singer or the pro wrestler from that time period) This dinosaur carried a crossbow weapon that did not fire by itself. Many Dino-Riders toys cost quite a bit of money back in the day so figures like these were more for when you were starting out and were often one of the first toys of the series to get. The Rulon who controlled the little monster came with some weapons like a shield, a bazooka, and an electric whip as well as binoculars and a ladder to complete Sting’s assortment. This toy was eventually repackaged and sold for a second time a few years later.
Triceratops is a well-known dinosaur to kids. In this toy line, it sided with the Rulon bad guys. It came with a satellite, a laser blaster, a brain box that sat on its head, and a seat on it’s back so it could be ridden into battle. It also had a gun near its tail to hold off the good guys. This toy was one of the Dino-Riders toys that came with battery-operated walking so you could flip a switch on the underside and Triceratops could walk into battle on its own.
Torosaurus was a dinosaur that was on the side of the good guys and came with the figures for Gunnur and Magnus included. This was featured a lot on the cartoon of the series but this set didn’t actually come to the stores until later in the first series of toys. Torosaurus featured a big set up that wrapped around its body and would pop open with missiles and lasers along with two rear-facing armored pods so the figures had a place to sit and fire their weapons as the dinosaur moved along.

The Rulons main dinosaur that came with 3 figures including Krulos (the Rulon leader), Bitor, and Cobrus. It also had the automatic walking feature to lead these bad guys into battle and had plenty of lasers and guns to pretend to make war with. The actual dinosaur toy came with a mind-numbing brain box that had lasers on it, two large lasers set up on its shins, and a massive set up with all kinds of weapons right on it’s back. There was also a platform rising up from the middle of the dinosaurs; back for Krulos to stand on so you could pretend to lead the alien troopers into battle.
