Top 5 Big Brother alliances throughout the years
“Big Brother” is back for its 22nd season and because it is All-Stars and its 20th anniversary, it is making us very nostalgic of past seasons.
One of the best parts of the show besides the fights and the showmances, is the alliances that form. It is great to see a solid team form and have a select group of people stick together throughout the game.
Most of them crumble within a few weeks, especially all girl alliances, but some remain strong until the end. We can’t wait to see what alliances form in the house.
Here are the top 5 “Big Brother” alliances throughout the years.
Big Brother Alliances – Level Six
Season 20 was one of the best seasons of the franchise. The house was split completely down the middle and there were strong alliances. Level Six might be one of best and most loyal alliances in franchise history. The alliance consisted of Brett Robinson, Winston Hines, Rachel Swindler, Angela Rummans, Tyler Crispen, and Kaycee Clark, the latter two making it to the end. Rummans made it to the final four. They stayed loyal to each other until two members of their alliance were on the block and had no choice but to vote them out. Crispen won America’s Favorite Houseguest and is currently on this season.
Big Brother Alliances – The Brigade
The Brigade was made up of Lane Elenburg, Hayden Moss, Enzo Palumbo, and Matt Hoffman. They had their fair share of drama, but ultimately everyone but Hoffman, who the group sort of dissed part way through, made it to the final three with Moss winning. He was considered dangerous because they thought he was flipping sides. The group ran the house most weeks, by controlling every eviction vote and had showmances on the side. Enzo is currently on this season. This alliance was another reason why season 12 was one of the best.
This alliance formed in week 4 of season 14. The Quack Pack was made up of Dan Gheesling, Britney Haynes, Ian Terry, Danielle Murphee, and Shane Meaney. This alliance was similar to the Brigade where they only lost one member along the way (Britney) while the other members made it to the final four. The group decided to target Chilltown 2.0 members Mike “Boogie” and Frank Eudy, as they were big threats in the game. Gheesling and Terry made it to the final two with Terry beating out the former winner.
This iconic duo consisted of Dr. Will Kirby, Shannon Dragoo, and Mike “Boogie” Malin. Chilltown was the first alliance in “Big Brother” history, debuting in season 2. It was rebooted when Mike and Will were reunited on Season 7: All-Stars and again on 14 with “Boogie” and Frank Eudy. It is regarded as one of the popular and successful alliances in the show’s history. They were known for running the house and their crazy Diary Room sessions. However, only Will made it to the end, winning the game. Sadly, “Boogie” and Will do not talk anymore.
Made up of GinaMarie Zimmerman, Spencer Clawson, Andy Herren, and Judd Daughtery, the Exterminators wanted to “get rid of the rats and snakes in the house.” It was formed on week 9 of season 15. Clawson served as the perpetual pawn of the season. The alliance only lost Judd along the way. The others made it to the final three, with Zimmerman and Herren, sitting in the final two chairs. Taking control of the Double Eviction, The Exterminators managed to get out two of their targets in one night.
