Adam Rippon and Jenna Johnson – Season 26
The All-Athletes season was only four weeks long, so the competition was fierce. Olympic skater Rippon worked so hard for the win. This was Jenna’s first and only win. The pair beat out Josh Norman and Sharna Burgess and Tonya Harding and Sasha Farber. The two remain very close as Rippon was a bridesman in Johnson’s wedding to DWTS champion Val Chmerkovskiy.
Rashad Jennings and Emma Slater – Season 24
Jennings is a former NFL running back. According to host Erin Andrews, Jennings spent 362 hours in rehearsals, the most out of any contestant ever. He is the fourth NFL player to win the show. This is the first and only win for pro Emma Slater Farber. They won over former MLB player, David Ross and his partner Lindsay Arnold.
Jordan Fisher and Lindsay Arnold – Season 25
Fisher is a Broadway star, singer, and actor. He is best known for his role in Hamilton. Fisher is the youngest male celebrity to win Dancing With The Stars, at 23 years old. Fisher beat out the record for perfect scores, receiving 9 in his season. He later hosted the first and only season of Dancing with the Stars: Junior with season 25 competitor actor Frankie Muniz. This was Arnold’s first win and some of her best choreography. They beat out violinist Lindsey Stirling and Mark Ballas.
Derek Hough and Bindi Irwin – Season 21
America fell in love with Bindi! Most people had only remembered as the little girl who was Steve Irwin’s daughter. She proved to have a strong work ethic and a bubbly personality. Irwin shared the record of being the youngest contestant to win with Shawn Johnson at just 17 years old. Their record was beat out by season 23 champ Laurie Hernandez. Irwin and Hough set a record of perfect scores, receiving 8 on their season. Hough is a six-time DWTS champion, multi-time finalist, actor, judge on “World of Dance,” and singer. The pair beat out Nick Carter and Sharna Burgess.
Shawn Johnson and Mark Ballas – Season 8
What a power couple! Former Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson (East) was a force to be reckoned with on her season. At the time, Johnson was the youngest contestants to win the show. She beat Gilles Marini by 1%, the tightest finale in the show’s history. Johnson came back for the all-star season (Season 15), where she was partnered with Derek Hough and placed second. Ballas is a two-time DWTS champion, multi-time DWTS finalist, musician and singer. He has proven himself to be one of the best choreographers in the show’s history.
