“Dancing with the Stars” (DWTS) has been on for 29 seasons and has seen professional dancers come and go. Some of them were from other shows such as “So You Think You Can Dance” or were just professional dancers when they were younger.
Either way, the talent on the stage is immaculate. The pros may not be there for long or they may be on for numerous seasons. They all leave a lasting impact, whether in the troupe or paired with a partner and deserve some recognition.

Derek Hough

The G.O.A.T. of the ballroom, Derek Hough has sure made a name for himself. Not only has he won six mirror ball trophies, the most out of any pro ever, but has two Emmys and many other awards. He is currently a judge on season 29 and a judge on “World Of Dance.” Hough has performed in three sold-out tours with his sister, Julianne, and even a sold-out solo tour.
He was supposed to have a Las Vegas residency, which was postponed and has released songs and inspirational videos. He may be the best pro the show has ever had.
Cheryl Burke

Although Burke has only won the mirrorball trophy twice, she holds the record for being on the most episodes, out of any pro, with more than 300. Currently, she placed 7th on season 29 with Backstreet boybander, AJ Mclean.
She has been nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award and has appeared on “The Suite Life of Zack and Cody,” “I Can Do That,” and “Dance Moms.”
Mark Ballas

Ballas, also a two-time champion, has set and broken numerous records on “Dancing With the Stars,” including highest premiere score, partner of the youngest celebrity partner, pro to make the finals the most times and to place second the most times. He is the only male professional to place the same in the finals twice in a row without winning.
Aside from the show, Mark has starred on Broadway and formed an indie duo with wife, BC Jean. He is also best friends with Derek Hough.
Julianne Hough

Julianne Hough has surely made a name for herself, aside from winning two mirror balls on DWTS, she has also been a judge on the show. Hough has traveled around the US with brother Derek, in three sold-out tours, started a music career, starred in numerous movies, and became a judge on “America’s Got Talent.”
She is also a Primetime Emmy winner that she shares with Derek for their performance on “DWTS.”
Maksim Chmerkovskiy

Chmerkovskiy is one of the longer-running pros on the show. He has only won one mirrorball trophy but has placed in the finals numerous times. He started his “DWTS” career on season two and ended it in season 25.
Maks is married to fellow “DWTS” pro, Peta Murgatroyd and have one son together. His brother, Val is also a pro on the show. He has also performed on Broadway and started his own tour, with his wife and brother.
