Stranger Things is one of Netflix’s most popular shows. The drama/comedy series takes place in the town of Hawkins where things out of the ordinary happen. Throughout the series, a group of middle and high school kids must defeat monsters that want to take over their town. It all started when Will Byers went missing in the year 1983, he was found in the “Upside Down,” which is an alternative universe where certain creatures lurk including the “Demogorgon” and the “Mind Flayer.” After that, things were never the same for Will and the town of Hawkins. Some of the cast includes Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Sadie Sink and Winona Ryder.
Season 3 was released on July 4th and it broke records. The multi-billion dollar company had shared the statistics that more than 40 million accounts have tuned into the show since it’s release date and over 18 million have already finished the entire season.
Season three bases it’s time period in the summer of 1985 instead of the fall/winter in the previous seasons. It shows more of the 80’s aesthetic including clothing, music, hair styles and more.

Steve Harrington Quotes #5 – “Ahoy, ladies!”
Steve used his job at Scoops to his advantage, along with making some money, he got to meet some pretty cool customers. He always tried to flirt with the cute consumers that are craving some ice cream, but most of them don’t work in his favor. Robin kept tally of how many accepted and how many declined on a white board.
#4 – “Screw company policy.”
As an employee of Scoops Ahoy Ice Cream, Steve and his partner in crime, Robin, serve all different kinds of delicious ice cream flavors to the customers that shop in the Starcourt Mall, a brand new edition to the Hawkins community and the new hangout spot for kids and teenagers. The Starcourt mall doesn’t come into the Stranger Things story until season three.
#3 – “You’re too young for that s**t.”
Like stated before, Steve’s character changed a lot in the second season. He became a role model, a babysitter, and a mom (according to the fan base) to the kids. He didn’t want any of them to get into dangerous situations. Steve and Dustin became very close friends by the end of season two when they both teamed up to trap a Demogorgon that Dustin kept in his home. Their friendship is also carried into season three.
#2 – “This is finger lickin’ good”
Nancy and Steve went to Nancy’s now deceased friend, Barb’s house to have dinner with her parents. During the awkward meal, instead of cooking, they order from KFC. The two teenagers uncover information they hadn’t known before. To break the awkward silence back at the dinner table, Steve recites KFC’s official motto.
#1 – “I’m stealthy, like a ninja”
Steve wanted to prove to his girlfriend (at the time), Nancy Wheeler, that he could easily sneak in and out of her home without her parents knowing. He wanted to let her know that he was in fact, stealthy like a ninja.
