Top 5 of the Most Dangerous Jobs to Have
There are plenty of jobs in the world that make people second guess doing them or jobs that make people wonder why someone would have such an insane job. No matter what they actually get paid, these are five dangerous jobs to have. These jobs leave people wondering if it is all worth it and if what they are doing is worth the money they are getting paid for doing it?
A person whose actual job is to grab certain kinds of snakes with a plastic container and have them “give up” some of their venomous juices. The venom is usually used for Antivenin and medicinal purposes. It is said that snake milkers who haven’t been bit at some point are low so chances are if you take this job, you probably will get bit at some point. Those are the kind of bites people generally aren’t looking for and draining the venom from them is worth more than what is called for.
A rodeo star that has to ride a bucking bull for 8 seconds. The bulls tend to have horns that they will try and stick you with. It is said that these guys usually get injured once every 15 rides or so. With some of these bulls, just coming out of a ride alive is a victory. Just surviving a ride on one of these bulls proves what kind of person they are to me.
One job out there is to cover the actions of people during a war or an army of a country in a political disagreement. Being a news correspondent can be difficult enough let alone covering the actions of someone who could shoot you for it! When trying to cover the action, they must hope that those on the other side of the conflict don’t view you as an enemy but as a member of the press..
Offshore Oil Rigger
The job here is working with one of the most combustible liquids while doing this at sea. On this duty you have the be careful of fire or explosions, falling and drowning, and having certain body parts (like your arms) attached to machinery you are working with pulled or removed. These tend to be dangers you would have to face. Many times you may be kept awake for 2 days or more until your job is done.
There is something about pitting yourself against a crocodile. It isn’t anything like the professional bouts between two humans. This normally doesn’t take place where a wrestling match would with springs and wood on a frame with padding and canvas. These matches pit a human against a wild animal with teeth and a snapping jaw along with a wild whipping tail. It is said that these kinds of wrestlers make only around 8 dollars an hour in battling these beasts. With the fear of having the jaw come down on a limb or around your head, I would never do anything close to that, not for that money.
